It may be a rumor, but 30K to 40K headcount may be reduced, along with consolidation of a few sites.

@md incorrect the target for Bora Bora is 200K 20K from Banamex 20K from layoffs.
Thanks for your attention to this matter!
LOL, why stop at 20%? Do I hear 110% (old dot.com bubble/nortel joke) layoffs?
OP is either a troll Bullsh!tter or has been in a coma oblivious to what's been happening in Citi.
The 30,0000 to 40,000 employees to be jettisoned are from Citi's sale of Banamex.
Citi currently has 240,000 employees worldwide. Back in 2022 Citi announced its target resting state will be about 180,000 employees.
With the Banamex sale Citi will be at 200,000.
This Still leaves 20,000 employees that will get jettisoned between years 2026 and 2027.
And yes, jettisoned because Citi considers employees as faceless, nameless Chattel to be discarded like used Toilet paper.
Heard the number is between 1 and 219K
Maybe 20k, maybe 30k, maybe none, maybe some, maybe with predictions like this, you should have been a weather man.
@OP it’s BS and the 20K in Mexico is a spin off not a layoff. Thank you for you attention to this matter!
Mexico and Tech
@OP when? At once like Oracle did? Is this not about Mexico? Aren’t they like ridding of Mexico or something?
I don't know how they are going to achieve their headcount reduction target if every person laid-off in the is location is replaced by 2-3 in India
All roles in 388. Being offshored.
Heard its going to be 100k
