And it’s freaking me out. Maybe most folks just live under a rock or are so numb / broken from being bossed around from the overlords up the chain that this just seems normal!! Either way it’s freaking me out. I feel like I am in some weird dystopian universe…

If you don't think this nonsense is 'normal ' you haven't worked for the green machine that long. Reputation of constant layoffs is valid.
Don’t expect to get laid off, and you still have a job to do. Sometimes you have to be an adult and su-k it up.
I was told the announcement is coming on Thursday.
There’s not really a layoff and I’m acting normal because I know my group can’t be impacted at all.
Don’t freak out. Not everyone refreshes this website every 5 minutes like you do so don’t assume. Stop coming back to this website you’ll feel much better
