Curiosity poll after reading the “Is anyone else pi---d that Ford is giving A plan to everyone?” Thread. I’d love to buy what I work on, but definitely an ignorance is bliss thing. I know what’s wrong or ongoing issues, so I wouldn’t choose or recommend certain vehicles to friends or family. As a buyer you don’t know otherwise unless told so.
Feel free to leave your reasons why yes or no.

Nope
Sounds like a typical MAGAt response. Unfortunately there are too many of these boomer dolts currently working at this company.
If you only buy things made in ‘MERICA as you implied, I would like to ask where the device that you used to type this utter drivel was made.
@eb I think he’s been back for a while.
Here is a good reason from down under....

@ag FCG kid? lol
@ct Only Ford employees consider Lincoln a luxury vehicle. Compared to actual luxury vehicles, Lincoln is just another Ford.
Does one classify a Lincoln, Ford's luxury automotive division, as a Ford? If yes, I certainly aspire to acquire one.
This is exactly right. They don't incentivize regular employees enough to buy a Ford, (not counting management leases), so I would only consider Japanese. Only need routine maintenance, and you can drive them until the wheels fall off. Loyalty is a d-mb argument when we're talking about a $40k+ depreciating asset. If they wanted me to buy a Ford they would provide better incentives.
I only buy AMERICAN MADE PRODUCTS!
I do not own one single thing that was made in another country - or with materials from another country.
You all need to step up and only BUY AMERICAN!
I quit last week after 20 years, I bought a Honda.
Fu-k No.

No way man. I haven't bought one since 2000. Worst car I ever owned from Ford. The Taurus. I have been using g Japanese and Korean cars since 2000. I am getting ready to buy their new Kia Telluride in June when my order arrive.
In the last 10 years, Ford has only produced 2 vehicles that I was interested in them: Mustang 2017 and Maverick. The Mustang was really nice (and tempting), but at the time I needed a bigger vehicle and didn't have the budget for 2 vehicles. So I ended buying a japanese vehicle.
The Maverick 2022 was the only "truck" I was interested in, due to being really a "car" in the shape of a truck, at a very good price. I was not able to get my hands in it when I needed, due to delays in the production and the greed of the company. When it became available a year later, at a higher price, I already had bought another japanese vehicle.
Of course I knew that Ford vehicles came with shortcomings. Mustangs are the weekend joy, not the everyday conmute. Maverick 2022, well, usually I don't buy the first year of a vehicle, since it comes with all the defects and none of the repairs. I don't like being the guinea pig, but I was willing to make an exception.
Thank the Lord that I was not able to buy one. Ford vehicles are just junk, and the japanese vehicles are very reliable. Boring, but reliable. My life is easier with japanese vehicles. Just do the maintenance, and ride it. Boring is good...
For all of you, thinking or saying out loud, that I should be "loyal" to Ford, let me remind you that Ford has not been loyal to us since 2019. I survived all the layoffs at my department. I am one of the few in my area, and I had the threat of layoffs constantly dangling over my head, for the last years. All while the jobs went to another countries... Well, the ones that should be loyal are the ones receiving those jobs.
Me? My concern is lining my own pockets, like Bill Ford's concerns about lining his own pockets (by outsourcing my job). I'll do what is in my best interest, like Ford does. I will not buy a Ford vehicle ever again, until they become reliable and cheap enough. I found the ownership of japanese vehicles is d@mn good, and f#ck Ford....
What is this? You mean to tell me you need another post to tell you this? Engagement farmer. If you didn't know the answer to this already, no one on a forum like this can help you. You need a higher power.
Yes. I own a 1997 F250. Beautiful truck. Sure its the 460 V8,,but with 300K on it, still runs fantastic. Yes I fixed the rust in the wheel wells.
I do want a Bronco PEHV, but waiting for retirement. So its a few years out.
I’d pay to not drive one.
