Stankeyland.... Kinda like Wille World in Hoffman Estates IL at Ameritech 1991 -1992. We all felt as if it were laid out like a shopping mall and then decades later, became this. https://bell.works/chicagoland/explore/
Since we know John is a proven failure we know this is the wrong move, which is actually good. Its a true sign that RTO mandates are on the way out.
This office will be written off and sold to be used as apartments within 5 years. If it’s not cancelled first. RTO is a dying game. Those who don’t eliminate office space to save on expense will lose in the long run.
More like multibillion-dollar squandering of (more) borrowed $$$.
They will be desperately trying to convert it to condos by 2030. It would be more efficient to take $2 billion out in cash and make a big bonfire in the parking lot.
It’s easy for John to spend other’s money, DTV, TimeWarner, TMo, Xander and now the new campus. He will have to retire about the time it opens so this is really just a monument to himself. And that tower with the globe on top out front, will be a daily reminder of John giving the finger to those employees still working there after he’s gone.
I can’t wait to play golf, tennis, pickleball, kayak, and more all on company time at the new Plano HQ…. Hey wait, isn’t that the reason CWA dolts cite as the reason for RTO. Oh well, back to your truck, cuck!
Pickle ball courts win!
