Well I got a 5 minute meeting on the calendar. Wasn’t going to wait until Thursday, so just called my manager and got the news. I’m apparently the 10th one they’ve told already this morning.. Band 7 is getting hit the hardest it looks like.

I’m afraid of being laid off. I’m a critical key partner for the office golf course, holiday cubicle decor, coloring books and ping pong. I’m making dtps and loes as fast as I can in between my everyday appointments and naps.

My skip director is OOO Thursday & Friday, and they set up a meeting with me tomorrow morning. Reached around to my direct manager (we are close and text). He says basically yeah getting the boot but he basically had no say. He expects 2 weeks of pay per year with the company and pay prolapse-rated sti, unlike Nov layoffs which just got fullfrontal sti.
@gh I can’t even speak right now. My mouth and face are basically glued shut I’m in such a shocker. Just came out of nowhere in the face.

I just got the word that I’m laid off. I’m band 7 fin ops. Never thought this day would come. But it came right at my face.
@OP Band 7? The lowest rung on the ladder. Odd. I heard it was band 5 and above.
@eh no. No bonus this time and insurance is only for 2 weeks. So it’s a little worse but not terrible.

I just got notified. Severance offer is the same as the November layoffs.
