While you are busy Mickey Mousing, cutting and laying off people every month without solving big problem. There is a marauder on the horizon. And I am afraid they are here is to conquer you.
And I am talking about Chinese Shoe Makers. Yes, those people that were making your contract Nikes are now have grown up.
I was at GuangZhou about 30 days ago and I had to admit that I was impressed of Anta and Li Ning. And the energy and motivation that I felt from them was same one that I got from Nike during 90s.
Just like Nike of yesterday years, NO was not an answer. Arrogance, entitlement, overconfidence was not with them yet.
And they are ready to expand. They conquered China and Asia. Now they are eyeing towards America.

Get your A game out!!

Or one IT design from Anta and it will leave Nike in the dust.

@OP I saw that ACG in winter Olympics. Typical Nike way, they threw ACG away in trash can and had to dive in it to bring from the dead and resuscitate in the hopes that it will stand up.
Maybe not. Anta owns Salomon and unless you were in a cave, you know how hot they were for last couple of years. And Arc'teryx which Nike with their reputation, they will never catch up to it. There is no self respecting mountaineer will go up the mountain in a Nike, unless gets paid.

Nike is already already losing to Anta in the mountain and suburbs.
If they lose to Anta with young people and in the city then Nike is danger of losing significant market share.

Anta is primary owner of Amer, Descente, Fila, Puma and many more Westen brands. They don’t need to buy Anta, there are plenty of others that still fill their pockets

@aw they don't have to convince all Americans. They just need to convince African Americans community then everything will flow and convince the rest. OH, BTW, that is the same strategy that Nike used to grow themselves. LOL

As for the maga people, they can't have their Under Armour. Maga people don't wear Nike anyways? Anta can ignore them.

Americans won’t wear Chinese branded shoes. Too many maga fans.
