A lot of folks being lead out of the business.

Hmm, wonder if she has any LinkedIn recommendations. If I had to guess, based on what I'm reading in this thread........
People who knew her at Nortel had the same opinion
@px But her reputation will. Any company will do indepth reserch before hiring somebody and Cheryl does not have the best. As matter a fact her reputation is the worst I have ever seen.
@OP We need to re-post this as it is getting a little long in the tooth. It will go away soon
Thank goodness she is gone. She’s one of the worst. Nasty, narcissistic, and zero common sense. One of the main drivers of RTO and the plummeting culture. This is a win for the business.
@es A non-compete only limits where she can work or to what capacity. It does not completely keep her from working.
@kn Yeah I agree this was definty devistating to her. She relished the power and now that has been taken she feels defeated and worthless.
She is a narcissist and this was a gut blow. She is the one crying a river I guarantee. People like her don’t do it for the money they do it for power over people. She was just canned and striped of all power.
Cry me a river. I bet she'll take a 2 month tropical vacation on some beautiful beach relaxing. And I bet she won't think about you for one nanosecond.
She's off to her next adventure. What's up next for you? Hahaha
Many orgs are a complete mess because of decisions she ultimately made.
I have never heard of Cheryl, or 90% of the people in the “xxxx has announced their intention to leave the business” emails. That tells me how many we need to cut at whatever that level is.
Cheryl is unemployable. Executive position requires referals and indeth research. Cheryl not only was horrable to work for she did alot of interfighting with peers. If she had a reputaion score it would be "F". She retired at the force of beign terminated.
Cheryl’s most recent leadership team is also responsible for her legacy. A bunch of cowards.
I worked alongside Cheryl for many years and she is capable but has a really bad reputation with peers and definetly her employees. In all honesty she has the worst reputation I have ever sceen. I dont think her future is bright outside ATT for that fact alone. She destroyed evey bridge she crossed!
As for any future employment (aside from flipping burgers) stick a fork in her, she is DONE.
@ew Thats an outlier. She is done and will be collecting cats the next 10 years! You also need to understand reputation makes you employable. I dont know many that thought highly of her.
@es
Wrong. Dan Shulman was brought into Verizon 2-3 years ago at age 63-64 as the CEO. She's got 10 more years to make a ton more money.
Ok so I don’t remember this person but what was her deal? Sounds like she was Satan’s direct report though.
@er doubtful. she had to sighn a noncompete for 2 years. that will put her late 50s. Nobody wants a late 50s person.
Well she's walking away still at a marketable age for senior level employment, over 25 years employment, undoubtedly a sizable 401k, stock options, perhaps severance and a pension. So there's that for you to rage about. She'll land on her feet post ATT, no question!
I have often found that women like Cheryl are horrible bosses due to the fact that they rule, they do not lead, they allow personal bias to dictate their rulings, emotions dictate their actions, they are vengeful, hateful, jealous and instigating. Cheryl I hope you have read all these post becasue this is your legacy. This is what people think of you.
Welp. I won't be seeing her on the commute.
She never was able to get the ruby slippers away from Dorothy.
Overdue “retirement”.
@bv nobody felt threatened, especially by her, just mistreated. She ruined so many lives and didn’t care one bit. She should go start a goofy glasses company.
My manhood was threatened by her authority.
Sad. Sounds like she was so well liked.
LOL.
Karma is a mo-o. Now she is WFH looking for a new job.
Maybe TMo or VZ need resident evil?
@av Headcount reductions through people quitting instead of working for her and swinging the ax for surpluses and forced relos.
Taking home the 'Best' and 'Fastest'—that is how we do it! 🏆 Huge congratulations to Cheryl, and the team for proving our strategy is unmatched. Proud of the momentum!
For you people that have no clue who these people are go to Insider and click on Executive Announcements from time to time. There’s the answer. Also, Kara Long gone today also. Funny another external officer hirer from 3Q25 and today announcement gone. Rao will take over her spot. Lots of external hires leaving quickly after they come aboard. Thought the idea was to change the “culture” from outside in. Well you must stay a little longer amongst the loyalist to change it. Another epic leadership fail.
Choy chopped
@at Choy
Wow. Never met her but she came off as ruthless. Anyone known what her big contributions were? RTO?
Give us a UID or something. Cheryl??
Look at all these nasty comments about her. That is her legacy! Thats is what people think of her! Pitiful

Don’t let the door hit you on the way out!
