The price of petroleum will be sustained at a higher price for a while and high gasoline prices will push the USA and other nations into an economic slowdown this summer. Slow growth and high inflation are called “ stagflation” and are difficult to control because lowering interest rates to trigger growth will sustain the higher inflation rate. Trump is too vain to lower tariffs to reduce inflation. Hold on folks the summer will be expensive for the world.

Price spikes have hit Asia and as the world rushes to ourshores to relieve their supply problems prices at the pump will rise soon enough. They is a delay in casue and effect in everything, so wait for it! $6 a gal national average is likly, which is great new for us short term.
@OP One thing that is absolutely certain is that anything coming out of DJT’s mouth is a self serving lie. That especially applies to statements that fuel prices will be coming down very quickly.
