Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Still lying about the "Great Place to work" or "Great Student Job" on glassdoor

I haven't done this since TL and the band of failed family took their payouts and left us alone. Under old mis-management, follett paid a firm, or paid employees to write shill reviews and post them on Glassdoor. It appeared they wanted to maintain a 3.5 star rating or higher. Whenever a real review is posted, 4 or 5 fake, thin, non-specific 5 star reviews were posted.
The new clowns simply stepped into the floppy shoes and rubber noses left behind by the last t-bowl floaters. Same pattern. Same fake reviews trying to drown out the occasional truthful review. Pathetic!

Come on HR/Executive Team that was on here, counter that 78%.

I was in the “leadership meetings” and 78% would not recommend Follett to a friend to work at. So, I guess they lied on a confidential survey (which likely was not and risked jobs/career), but thought to make up for it on Glassdoor?

"Or just maybe there are people who are actually happy in their positions and with the company, and not miserable like 95% of the people who post on here. "

Yes, and they all write in the exact same style. They always sing their happy, spartan tune following a negative review, in groups of four and five. They always recommend the company and 100% support the CEO 100% of the time (even if they only gave 3 stars, the minimum stars in a shill review).
Who wrote that for you? I'm guessing you can't write on your own because you have demonstrated you don't read well.

Oh many. An executive member is posting! Looking to defend their massive six figure salary by saying how happy everyone is. Didn’t we do a survey, what were the results? Oh, another thing not communicated because I recall hearing something like 80% would not recommend Follett to a friend. It has been a fact for years that they incentive to leave those. Wake up, they did it at Macys and CVS also.

They incentive people to review it. Inside info and it is a fact.

Ginning it up on Indeed is cheaper than actually paying people.

And there always people that are smarter than anyone else that assume that everyone else in the store is just a lazy d-mb person.

Had one person tell me that if they were not a Regional Manager in 6 months they would be gone.

Last year, our store got a 5 star review on Indeed from a “current” employee. At the time, we only had 2 employees and neither one of us did it!

I think it was a former employee who wanted to come back for rush, so I’m guessing she was told it would help her chances. I also saw a great review (at another store) from a random person who didn’t work at the store but thought it was a cute town.
