... are a sign of impending RIF. Anyone seeing meetings or L3 travel abruptly cancelled?

There’s definitely a tendency for informal chatter to fill in gaps when official guidance is still evolving. But so far, nothing I’ve seen supports selective intent behind who’s being asked to come in.
Had two large events Tuesday get cancelled.
Some folks I heard might be coming to Boston for a “meeting” next week, and they’re in a department that would make sense to be on-site when sh*t hits the fan.
Also, for FTS, they canceled all our mandatory furloughs. I’m wondering if they’re thinking they’ll need backup to fill in the gaps when people get RIF’d or leave. Maybe they’ll finally approve overtime—they never did before, since they’re cheap and don’t want to pay hourly folks time and a half.
I did see a department-wide meeting get moved, which in context doesn’t make sense unless they know something is going down.
