Thread regarding Thomson Reuters layoffs

Earnings predictions

No earnings insider insight, but if I were a better (would)man, I'd bet on a miss and bleak outlook. Just based on sentiment

Is anyone really buying CoCounsel?

@18m Yeah, it looks like it's at a 5 yr low.

67% ownership is the T Fam. So I'm not heartbroken over it. The problem is how they fix the share price by moving jobs to low-cost destinations as the "solution."

@af+1kqfkfywk I do not work on CoCounsel. With that said...

People do want to use AI when they can, filter though a staggering amount of information with less effort, with minimal hallucinations. Even if it is just to get started.

Not everything AI says is correct and AI should not be taken at its word, but all they want is something that is not mostly BS. There are few AI systems that actually have the data necessary to back it up what it spits out.

I might have a bad take on this, so feel free to enlighten me.

Does anyone believe the hype about CoCounsel sales? Why would any law firm pay to access AI?

Typo - "betting", not "better"
