NextGen

Can anyone explain Nextgen to us. Is this just more virtue signaling or something with some substance?

You have officially watched too much Fox News if you start calling a business software update “virtue signaling”.

It will be a barely noticeable for most people. Some things will be better, some will be worse. Life will go on.

It also means a 5-10% headcount reduction.

It’s a way for managers and useless employees to spend lots of time and lots of money but not have to produce anything whatsoever.
Success is guaranteed.
Be on the lookout for phase 2!

Fun Fact. No one knows what ‘Evolve’ was but the latest email that went out basically did away with it. No consequences. On to the next boondoggle.

NextGen is just an unoriginal monicker that COP applies to any upgrade or change in systems. There can be and probably are multiple nextgen projects going on right now which makes it confusing when leadership just says “nextgen”. But what you’re likely hearing about is the nextgen erp which is the SAP upgrade. Not sure if this also includes the new HR system.
Now if someone else could explain Evolve, that would be great. It’s allegedly a huge success without anyone knowing what it is.
