Shakopee layoffs April 28

What’s the scoop? I heard 65 people, but I don’t know a good source.

To give some hard data, 1 project manager and 1 person on the APL team at Shakopee were let go. Sadly, their off-hours volleyball habits weren't included in the severance documentation so we may never know if @en was on to something.

They sent out the volleyball sign-up email today. If there’s a second round of layoffs, whoever has time to play volleyball during work hours should be on that layoff list. I’ve been in meetings that have been held up because the volleyball game has went too long. Last I checked we’re supposed to be shipping meters not volleyball games.

All Twin Cities MSOL had layoffs today. I believe all contractors were let go and some full-time employees depending on the head count reduction required for each group. At least 6 were let go at EP but most likely more
