I’ve been applying at centene for years, probably going back to 2019. What’s it take to get an interview? I’ve never even been contacted by a recruiter after having referrals. Are remote job openings on the company site legit?

A lot of people want remote work. I've seen numbers for applications and it can be upwards of 1k within 2 days of the position posted. Definitely keep trying. Tailor yoir resume to the specific job, and use words that are in the job posting. Also check daily or every other day....the faster you apply the better odds
Maybe it’s the universe’s way of saying you shouldn’t work here. Health Insurance is dying and Centene is going with it. Layoffs are on the rise. Go look somewhere else. Not getting a job here is a blessing in disguise. Run while you still can.
If you are not currently employed here, your chances are better than those of currently employed people, since they can offer lower starting wages. I have been with the company for almost 10 years and applied for numerous, and I mean 10+ "open positions" internally and have been rejected for every single one with no feedback (as I have been told I am not "entitled" to feedback). AND yes, I am qualified for most and have transferable skills for others. The company stagnates in growth, and there is an enormous amount of nepotism within. That being said .....I would say that 99% of job listings for this company and others are just for show. I see the same positions being posted on multiple platforms repeatedly.
If it’s clinical (CM,UM), I’d look elsewhere. Unless you like working for a modern day sweatshop where you are undervalued and overworked. Oh, and managed by paranoid “leaders” now tracking your every move as an added bonus. And if you still aren’t convinced, they would fire us all if they could get away with offshoring every position they could and using AI for those they can’t.
What type of work are you looking for?
They want to pay cheap people that are young and hungry work 60 hours and don’t demand a high salary
