Do we need to move money to gold bars now? If unemployment is 30% then no one is available to buy anything. All the people with AI safe jobs won't have any customers.
The article makes a good point, if unemployment hits 30%+ it will be in line with the great depression, people like Stankey and co won’t need to be worried about the bottom line, they will need to be worried about their lives and survival.
Millions of men with no hope for the future will lead to war, riots, and social upheaval we haven’t seen in centuries.
So sure, keep wishing for more layoffs and this future, go right ahead.
