Best move I made was leaving the gaslighting and political propaganda BS!
Schwab actually appreciates is employees and pays a fair wage. We can finally just have a single income and my wife is able to stay home with the kids.
F*CK Fidelity!

If the plan is really full time, I would hope they let us at least do 4 days a week (like Schwab). This nonsense where there is “flexibility” but it’s undefined and HR refuses to say what’s an acceptable amount of days to miss needs to end. I know plenty of us were in the town hall where a senior leader suggested more than 1 missed day a quarter is grounds for termination.
Stop complaining! The office is great. Who doesn't love the smell of death in the bathrooms!?!?!!!? Who doesn't love battling traffic and increasing their carbon footprint?!?!?!?! Who does not love all the political/cultural propaganda in office????
@gv - I can't wait to report over capacity issues to the city and state!! I love being a snitch. Everyone else should report it too so they take it seriously.
Well if we do go back full time, please keep in mind that if a building is over capacity it is a violation of health and fire code and it is your duty to report such things to your local health and fire departments. Please help keep the workplace safe
I really liked my job but if we go full time in the office I am 100% leaving after I get my bonus.
@ep - I use the guest bathroom when it's going to be a long visit. Boss makes a dollar, I make a dime, that's why I p00p on company time.
They will gaslight us and say it is because we weren't as productive at home, but the reality is that they get a tax deductions for @sses in seats. She's destroyed what her father built.
I’m in the FI group that is being absorbed into Fid Wealth. ZERO details received. Everyone is beyond miserable during Connect Weeks and aren’t hiding it. We don’t know how joining Fid Wealth will impact us and they might increase connect week demands?!? If the goal is to increase the amount of people out on stress leave, retiring way before they want to and to reduce people’s quality of life - then MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! It’s so depressing.
This is the most depressing sh*t ever if we have to go back full time. My husband and I barely make it work as it is with the kids. Unless you’re an SVP, you can’t make it on a single parent income anymore. There are so many working parents at Fidelity and this is a huge slap in the face to all of us. I guess they’ll get what they want when I quit. I loved this job otherwise.
Smithfield is an absolute disaster. Never enough seats, restrooms inadequate and getting off campus takes over 30 mins, unless you leave well after your shift ends. How could they mandate more in-office time for 900? Would they relocate folks from Wealth or FI out of Smithfield? Honest question.
Guys. Wake up. 245 is staying online. Boston is going back full time. It might be 75% initially but it’s going full time soon. I don’t know about other locations.
245 is not closing and they pulled it back from sale / lease. South Station commuters may want to stay at 245.
How would Boston be full time with 245 closing?
Dynamic schedules come out in June
july and full week for some region like boston and role. 1 week for phones and 2027+ for some other site.
