Thread regarding L3Harris Technologies layoffs

Quiet for now…

I think the next 2 weeks will be quiet- hr is processing all of the ALST layoffs from the sale- not everyone was picked up by the new company.

So what will they do about those people in Clifton that burn through their paid time off by the end of April and then take more time off?
Answer: If you're a supervisor in Clifton, NOTHING.
That rule is for everybody else.
Don't think so?
Check it out for yourself.

@1an Ahh yes, all those "benefits" that everyone pays a lot for. And now VACN and SICK is being scrutinized.

The Benefits portal is quiet too. Anybody notice the L3harris benefits portal is gone?

Don’t hold your breathe. Please keep your resume up to date, especially in this job market. They are always inspecting the portfolio/facilities/divisions/etc. Anything can happen at any given time. Just because it’s “quiet” for now, doesn’t mean a surprise isnt cooking in the kitchen without you smelling the food directly. This place is always looking to make moves that benefit the stock and shareholders first and foremost. Protecting the warfighter my big a s s. Stock market comes first, employees last.

We think major layoffs will be avoided as long as the company has chunks of itself it can sell off. Plants to close. It's when they stop selling stuff that you have to worry because it means to generate the cash they want, they're coming after you.

HR doesn't care about whether or not employees are picked up by the new owners. They count heads towards their staff reduction goals.
