Cost of living gap

The pay increases lately don’t match how expensive everything else has become. Not that anybody at the top gives a damn, as long as their bonuses keep getting larger.

The harder they push infantile bullsh-t like pins instead of actual compensation the more I will be working my wage instead of ki-ling myself doing anything extra. The SLT has pushed the front line workers to the point of apathy.

If they can save a dime they will and give it to themselves. Same thing with the pay scales by location. Every employee should get the same wage for the same job. New York State employees have to pay the same outrageous costs no matter where they live in the state.

This is particularly true for the hybrid employees who spend more money in ever rising commuting expenses. The right thing would have been to give the hybrid employees a stipend, since they are forced to come into the office, while their peers who do the same exact jobs from their homes. Ask why the disparity and the je-k off managers can't even give a straight answer. I started "working my wage" and "quiet quitting" as a result. Do just enough where they can't complain.
