Bad week for the highest paid 10%

Word on the street from a credible source is that tomorrow they will announce the location cuts and on Thursday is when the top 10% highest base pay employees will receive their severance email.

Never understood why they make their cuts based on pay, when your top performers are the ones who are paid the most for a reason.

May 7th is the RIF date. They will not do RIFs the day Basking Ridge is having Take Your Kids to Work Day. Employees affected by site closures will get the email on Wednesday.

100% accurate. Was Top producer, highest salary base along with 5 other top petformers... who were Non Commission base but 30 year base and all of use got Rif'd last go around. While we all were ready to roll... primary choice and we were told high base/commissions was the reason.

Still have close friends and told Round 2 will be same priority .

Remember, CEO was hired to eliminate... obviously not to execute ba strategy.

Layoffs have always been on Thursdays in this company.

I don't argue that salaries are taken into consideration but they are just one consideration.

Email seems different, usually they call or meet with the impacted virtually. Also doesn't align with my Sr. Director having the SMs stack rank us this week? If lists were made why ask for a stack rank?
