@bk I guess that Slack/the system doesn't get updated instantly, as some of the layoffs probably take weeks (by law, depending on the country)
From what I am seeing and hearing, my guess is a few hundreds employees. There is no way 5k employees just disappeared and nobody notices.
We think this round is over or will they do more meeting invite in coming days ? If it’s over then 5k is too much but if it’s gonna continue then possible… right now, global slack channel is around 27k it was 27.2k or so last week. So around 200 folks gone.

5k employees impacted seems way too high. Does anyone else have an idea of the kind of numbers we are talking about?
5K is too much. I would assume 25-300 roles
I am hearing from my VP that the numbers are 5000+. Some of the verticals to be completely shut off.
