@344 not so much about Indians but cheap labour, whichever country which have big population to suppress wages. But also hate to stereotype but there are two types of Indians, those hardworking, respectful and humble ones mostly in Hyderabad offices, and there are those who only spends majority of their time managing up, which is most of the non COE offices. Let’s see how this US MNC goes with an Indian CEO ….

@344 nothing new. would not be surprised if AI replaced workforce in COE. US/EU will continue to get squeezed, all for sake of quarterly margins.
will someone address the fact that while they're laying off people in europe they're also aggressively hiring people in india for a lot cheaper and effectively shifting the workforce ? (especially the company appointed an indian ceo) or should we pretend like it's not happening ?
More is coming. CEO making room for his own people. A few external hires will come in coming wks.
Not formal ones but it seems that APAC is quietly removing poor performers in the past half a year or so.. which is a good thing though!
