Was told today by Market Manager (my old store manager ) Flooring Specialist going away .

The fake “specialists” at Lowe’s don’t already. They just repeat the same answers to the same questions over and over. Most have never installed and flooring in their life.
That means absolutely no one at the store level will know wtf is going on in flooring.
It’s coming. Just was mentioned at district meeting.

Overpaid desksitters that haven’t worked up installs in years.
Lowe’s will be changing roles of the Millwork and Flooring Specialist this fiscal cycle. Lowe’s will no longer compensate these roles with Sales Incentive Bonuses. This will enable the company to eliminate the higher pay for Specialist as the current specialist leave/retire etc. Then hire CSA Flooring /Millwork at $15-16 /hr. Saving overhead. Without firing and making headlines.
I don’t see that happening
