That's my manager. Everything is burning around us, we have so many issues, don't even get me started on layoffs-related morale drop, and all he does is ignore everything and drinks his coffee. And these are the people that are considered leadership at this place?

I would love to have a manager like that. The WORST complaint about them is they don’t freak up when things get bad?
Try having a narcissist, or a really d-mb person, or a racist, or a liar, etc. lol.
He sounds chill, I'd love to have a manager like that. My boss is a constantly stressed workaholic who loves to set ridiculous deadlines.
@ay you are going to be surprised when you find out that the severance won't cover you until you find your next job. Finding a new job is priority one and if you happen to be able to collect severance on the way out the door great. Start looking now before you don't have a choice. You are probably only get a few months head start but that is better than nothing.
@af OP sure is he-l is not going just gift severance to Oracle. fu-k them.
OP, why are you still in the job if it is so bad? Doesn't say much for you if you keep coming back day after day.
