Anyone have any insight into ECS and layoffs? It’s been really weird with such little work available. Is AI being used covertly?

Correction. H1B for contracts that don't. Even if they do pretend to implement AI and have to roll back, they will only fill those human positions with H1B.
Yes. According to the report I reviewed, ECS is planning a significant round of layoffs that will impact hundreds of employees. The cuts appear to be part of a broader restructuring effort, likely aimed at reducing costs and realigning resources due to AI
From what I understand, offshore for the contracts that allow it, AI for the contracts that don't. Polish that resume.
The only thing being used covertly is offshore. They have basically taken over our department.
