I'd rather take a package than have to go through this over and over again. I'm being very serious. This place used to have job security. What happened to that?

It would be better for everyone involved. But Another example of management not being smart enought to offer this as an option.
So much Talent has already walked, without passing on any knowledge. Empower yourself and go find a job without the toxicity.

Yep already said no to this because they know a lot of people would take the offer because unsurprisingly, people don’t want to live in uncertainty for 2 years.
You are needed until your work is fully handed-off to or covered by India. You get laid off on their terms.
This was asked in a meeting a while ago and they said no.
