Every time you get an email about a re-organization, you can expect layoffs to follow. This will continue under our current CEO. It’s a way to distract and perform for the board with dismal earnings. Some advice: understand and use AI, you are marked if you don’t; speak up in meetings or you are marked if you don’t; take extra training and courses offered, you are marked if you don’t; if you have unlimited PTO, don’t overuse it, you are marked if you do.

Funny you say that about PTO. I’m taking full advantage of it since I don’t know how much longer I’ll have the option. Not my fault they came up with that crazy idea.
There’s a norm where higher ranked associates claim the work of those below them.
If everyone is doing this in Carelon, 1/8 of the company is just presenting to each other everyday.
RIF will not make it efficient, please make layoffs the last resort.

This place is a layoff machine. And from an insider, you are already marked. You were marked if you did not agree that everything was a great idea, you have your own opinion, and you are high on the salary range. And don't overuse your PTO that is the Director's job. Stay in your lane. Keep looking for a way out.
