Do they really help?

I did not hear from mine for over 2 weeks. I had to email them after an outplacement company called me saying they got my info from ELV. The redeployment person just gave me the generic initial outgoing email but never called me or anything else. Pointless IMO yet my job was the one eliminated.
@13b again they are not your personal concierge.
They talk a good game on that initial phone call!!! And say we will also be looking for jobs and give your resume to associates to look as well…well don’t hold your breath You are doing it all so do NOT rely on them
I was rehired and used them for a mock interview and to review my resume. I had them follow up with hiring manager to get quicker response. Like if I wasn’t going to be in the running for a job I would get the rejection email faster and know I wasn’t in the running. I think people think they are going to do all the work for you and act like a recruiter which is why I think people say they aren’t worth it. You still have to apply to the jobs you want. You have to let them know what they need to follow up on. They aren’t your personal concierge. You also have to remember they are helping other people who were riffed and if it was a big riff they probably have a big workload.
no.
