Thread regarding General Atomics layoffs

“Quiet layoffs”

Does anyone else feel that ASI intentionally wants workers to quit? It seems as if leadership is forcing people out.

Definitely! Their plan seems even clearer now.
Reporting after the first day of RTO: people look absolutely miserable. The only ones grinning are those who’ve been required to work onsite for a while, now they finally have company in their misery.
A terrible Poway location with a scorching hot sun and nowhere to walk except the parking lot.
Terrible cafeteria food.
Artificial lighting.
I can easily see at least 10% of the workforce leaving over this.

" They're not relying only on layoffs anymore; they're just making the package worse and worse. Reduce a benefit here, increase a cost there. It's passive-aggressive workforce reduction, and it shows what they really think of us."
