Growth Symposiums and Growth Practicums

What is it with all these Growth Symposiums and Practicums with all these highly paid people flying around, sharing the same stuff, and seeing no material progress? I thought it would end with KD and RM but it still seems to continue. Will it ever stop and money spent in actual product development?

@re you have a great sense of humor! The fact that you are scrolling through the layoff forum is telling in itself. The churn in his organization and the toxicity with which he leads and just these Growth Practicums and the OM transformation circus that KD and SV ran over the past 2 years. Name one thing which came out of this!

I hope your comment was sarcasm and not a fact.

@kj
What in the heck are you all talking about? There are some great ideas reviewed at these symposiums. SV is the absolute boss and he’s a role model for many. He’s amazing to work with if you have the opportunity.

@h0 It was originated by KD and SV. It was KD who brought Strategyzer and Alex Osterwalder to run these dog and pony shows flying from Switzerland. KD and RM were truly bad choices.

@OP KD had nothing to do with it. He didn’t have the courage to inform VK and HON board to stop this ignominy that SV and his puppet SC run to keep control over other executives.

It is all about NBI, next big idea. If you analyze how much margin that we have made in the past 3-4 years versus what they have spent on these events, you will have the idea. These id--ts couldn’t figured it out that the Next Big Idea is shutting off this nonsensical ritual. Elliott should definitely act on SV who has been orchestrating this circus under VK’s management. It is a role play of d-mbs celebrating on LinkedIn; it is a shame and no one screams that the king is na--d.

I cannot wait for Elliott and the other hostile takeover investors come in and ransack the business. The current leadership is no different than DA and would love for a cleaning of the house.

Honeywell has so much potential but it’s all talk and no action. And there’s no shortage of strategists that confidently spew ideas of what can be done. But without any data and inklings of change.

Random questions coming from all directions is what infuriates me the most.

Hypocrisy is at an all time high here!

All this practicum-ing and all the end up doing is blowing a load of cash

Its for paper trail purposes. Every project gets reamed, regardless of merit or quality of offering. Then if the NPI does well, its in part that they followed advice from the practicum. If it doesn't, they should have listened, etc.
