Hearing people who work on the mainframe are being informed that they are no longer needed.
Any truth to this rumor?

@a1 No Mainframe coders are going to have mandatory training starting June to advance their skills and knowledge to work on many other projects slated in the program roadmap.
There's still mainframes???
For the love of God corporate America, those of us who coded these are old and dying, before you lay anyone else off , you may want to modernize before GenX gives you the finger and dances their way out to My Sharona..
