Today is the day that many folks in SP1 are moving offices. What is the intent of the office building reshuffles? Will space be sublet out or is this just to free up space for future growth?

Remember when we had windows? 10 years since Westlake.
To give everyone that had a door a fishbowl and eventually consolidate due to more RIFs.
When the ELT gets bored they enjoy playing “Musical Office” with worker bees, making everyone stop working and pack their stuff in crates. Then they pay a third party to come move the crates, and prevent the bees from working for half a day while the move is in progress.
I was there for 10 years, and I had to move offices at least once per year - sometimes twice a year, depending on how many reorgs / acquisitions happened that year.
In short: they love disrupting work and making people move.
Many folks in the same group are spread across different floors or the same floor vs. being located next to each other. Departments that interact regularly are also being moved to be closer to each other.
