ISS DEI check boxes - A total waster of $ spend

Except a few gems (20%), ISS is a majority DEI Swamp (80%) - that gets nothing done, as they have no clue except to CHECK Boxes. They just focus on superficial compliance rather than meaningful action, as part of process checks (same questions asked by many different ISS Stakeholders). A total waster of $ spend on ISS.

@ah ISS and Talent? Except for a minority, which is approximately ten to fifteen percent, the majority we know how they got there and why they are here. They do work ensuring to impede real work progress in the name of useless GRC compliance checkboxes.

What's worse is they're not even making their own decisions anymore, they pass-through anything we give them to copilot which is often wrong & they deny on that basis. Big time DEI TQIA2S+ nonsense going-on over there. We're now fighting against unreliable AI for AVITs action, not actual people who have an infosec background & know what they're doing. It's become insanity. Our org is NOT SAFER with these people offloading critical thinking to a machine.

@af USB ISS, a consortium of comedic talents, all with distinguished unique background, culminates their performances with checkbox proceedings and are recognized for their authoritative presence, their commanding stature among the elite. It is curious to inquire whether any of these ISS legends -Top 100 of last year ever written a line of code, or if they possess the ability to interpret a line of code, barring the time spent on compliance review and talk check box Information Security discussions, wasting time.

@a1 I wholeheartedly concur, having observed numerous instances over the past several years. The engaged stakeholder failed to discern the distinction between source code and compiled code, and was overly focused on responding to a checkbox concerning firewalls. Most of these ISS stakeholders are there for a reason we all know.

@a2 We all know ISS is majority DEI Hires that are known for their comedic talents, ensuring their email signatures carry pronouns etc..They just talk - Many have no clue about core information technology concepts.

Well, except for a handful, the majority of ISS Leadership are just there for the tick boxes - you know, the usual chatter. They're mostly DEI hires. So, you check the box, move on, and then, three months down the line, you're back to it again. But let's be honest, nothing really gets accomplished. Except a very few, these DEI hires, they're often clueless about what meaningful action even means. 90% do not even understand basic Computer Science principles - Just Check boxers.

Agreed, I have dealt with them many times, always sending false positive stuff. Learned to take people with pronouns not serious.
