Thinking a letter will change things just shows how out of touch these folks are — or they just want to virtue signal expecting something good (press) only for themselves since the government doesn’t care about 2000 signature petitions on billion dollar transactions

I would say too little too late but honestly none of the people who signed have any power to stop merger unless they agreed to never work with the new company, which they won’t. Mark ruffalo who made a cr-ppy hbo series will still come as soon as hbo or paramount call for him. It’s all symbolic. Artists are clueless and the small percentage with money generally have waning interest to make life better for others at the end of the day
