Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

The problems just pile up

I can't even remember what the last good leadership moves were. You? All I see is that they keep making the same mistakes while the company sinks and more people than ever want to leave this place.

I think @1pjl+1koAdn4K has it right - but the break up and exit of Mr Shouty will likely be much quicker
One thing that will not be sold off or ever referenced again (except by the one poster in this forum) is the fabled Platform - X, which was never leading edge, never advanced beyond powerpoint slides, and was ki---d off in the last round of cuts over 6 months ago

The staff have been invigorated, the brand is very visible, Platform - X is leading edge, Culture week celebrations and the list goes long. Take pride in what we have achieved!

This is how I see the DXC story unfolding over the next year or so.

  1. The PE deal will go through with a shitload of debt driven LBO.
  2. Within 6 months of the deal, the new private company will be broken up and sold off in pieces. Because that's the only way the PE owners are going to make any return on their investment.
  3. Big man and his gang will exit with golden parachutes.

its a good point, i cannot recall ANY good leadership moves for years, lots of stupid mistakes, and even more stupid commentary around "execution momentum" and being "on track" despite each quarters results being worse then the one before ...

DXC is dead, it will never change especially with all the contractors that do sh*ty jobs but are protected by some DXC manager that doesn't want to lose his place
