It's likely there will be major layoffs at HealthNet. As with any contract renewal, no renewal means no staff needed.

It looks like Health Net will continue to administer Tri Care for the west region through 2023:

Layoffs will depend on the outcome of a protest, if a protest is submitted. In any case, the current contract won't end until Dec 2023 at the earliest, so layoffs won't occur for quite some time.
