Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Centene Corp. loses $65B defense health contract - HealthNet layoffs to happen in Jan?

It's likely there will be major layoffs at HealthNet. As with any contract renewal, no renewal means no staff needed.

What's healthnet head count? like 6000 employees??

It looks like Health Net will continue to administer Tri Care for the west region through 2023:

Protest will have little to no impact. With potential contract non-renewal already in place, staff cut backs will likely happen sooner than later

Layoffs will depend on the outcome of a protest, if a protest is submitted. In any case, the current contract won't end until Dec 2023 at the earliest, so layoffs won't occur for quite some time.
