Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Zero trust in GK as a leader

GK’s brand reputation clearly stands for doing what’s best for the stock and not for the employees.
It’s time to show her again, like we did after the first townhall, that we do have a say.
Go on Glassdoor, indeed, etc. and tell those looking for work at USB that this place su-ks and she, along with her MC, are a bunch of knuckleheads with no care for the employees.

Ask the tough questions on the townhall. Vote up the questions about trust, transparency and lack of care for employees. Call out the head of HR for being such a terrible leader and policy maker and reach out to your local news and let them know about this last RTO mess they created.

@gp they don't let people ask anonymous questions anymore in those do they? I'm really curious how vicious the questions will be if people's names have to be attached.

They'll likely do what they did last time and take "groupings" of the same types of comments and give some broad sweeping reflection and never actually answer anything. There have been so many questions about the GCCs and they just won't say anything because it's recorded. It's hitting press on India but it so far hasn't hit press here and you best believe that's intentional.

Gunjan needs to be absolutely evicerated in the QA part of the next town hall. She will probably strategically “run out of time” when we get close to the QA section at the end. Or maybe there will be a sudden tech issue so she “accidentally” drops off the call. I’m literally going to make popcorn.

Gunjan and Elcio are incompetent and need to be removed by the Board. This latest piece of the ongoing RTO saga is blatantly unethical.

I see no leader. All I see is lunatics and psychopaths.

@cm To get them to leave in order to replace them with cheaper labor. The managing committee believes the only way to get their desired efficiency ratio is to cut labor costs and, in doing so, Wall St will reward them. Cutting executive pay for failing or mediocre efforts is a bridge too far. AI is the latest scam like blockchain before it. Our footprint is stagnant (some of us work in Texas but there aren't branches here). The "cloud migration" as designed will cost us more money in the long run because of rising computing costs but DV will be golden parachuted out well past the time it dawns on management. The best ambassadors the bank has are employees but management is throwing us aside to chase after celebrity endorsements. Who wants to bet that they probably don't even bank with us?

So if the stock price isnt getting any better then I don't get what the point of treating all your employees like cr-p is for...

The best methods to register your disapproval in management doesn't involve the TTUS. Close your account(s) and use your stocks to vote against GK and the board.

If we want better working conditions, the strongest way to do so is to unionize, but since that's a filthy word the beatings will continue until morale improves.

File ethical complaints with the third party system regarding the RTO policy. Elfio and GK can’t just get away with retroactively changing the policy and making a bunch of us non compliant. This will lead to a lot of NIs, PIPs and layoffs

How does ergonomic equipment work if you work at a different desk every day ?

Do you get an assigned desk?

@ay they will provide you an ergonomic chair but you it requires contacting HR then scheduling a doctor's appointment and having your doctor fill out the paperwork to get the chair. Took me about 3 months to get mine

No. Not all CEOs (or 99.99% of them) cannot implementation strategies that enhance the lowering the morale, productivity, and health of U.S. Bank employees, so Gunjan Kedia is placed as the CEO (given her knowledge/experience with age old slavery practices/mindset of India). She is VERY effective to

1) Force employees to drive 2-3 hours in traffic.
2) Ensure employees sit in uncomfortable/non-ergonomic chairs for 8 hours - with no real productivity.
3) Employees miss taking care of their small children, senior parents, family members with disabilities.

Gunjan isn't a leader. She's shown no leadership whatsoever. AI can do her job. She's a negative on this company's reputation and his overall just pathetic.
