My manager cancelled our last two one on ones with no reason. Today I realized my manager cancelled the entire series. With the impending layoffs, should I be concerned I’m on the list?

@1et same thing happened to me too lol. I knew this is coming so I started applying and preparing for interviews. I hope to find something before UE runs out my red state really su-ks .. very little UE benefits
Ok happened to some on our team. I was laid off yesterday. This is after having worked here for 10 years. I was told due to reorg the funding has been cut. Another colleague was asked to move to a new team but after a week they told him he's not qualified as the role changed drastically and told him to apply to other internal roles. So he started applying outside UHG and already found something that pays even more and a much better company. So don't lose hope. The new manager almost sounded relieved that he's leaving.
Yup you should be worried. Mine continuously blew off my 1:1s and when I raised it to his boss, she was the one to then turn around and let me go. Rumor has it she just quit too 🤷

Not to add to your paranoia but my manager did this a week or two before I was laid off.
The only meeting you really have to worry about is the one you get with only 15-20 minutes of warning.
A manager cancelling your 1:1 meetings might only mean they are leaving.

@bt - what do you mean by reorganization? Is this company wide within Optum…various positions being let go? Do you know when?

Massive reorg happening before 5/1 on L29+ and SLT/ELT. Especially in OI. Could be they got told today (some senior exits are notified sooner due to their contracts).
They could have been jetissoned from the company.
My 1 on 1 were rescheduled constantly to later dates ......and then the last reschedule was made to a date after my layoff. In hindsight my manager knew and was just trying to move out the 1 on 1s as she knew i was to be cut but just did not know when. Makes sense ..i would have done the same if i was in her shoes.
Could just be an accident. I often fu-k up and cancel series when I just want to cancel the instance.
My advice: Ping your manager and ask “HOLY SH-T ARE YOU FIRING ME???” With a bunch of flame emojis and maybe an eggplant for good measure.

I don't think you need to be concerned. Your manager is likely just going to reschedule your 1:1 at a new date and time for reasons you aren't currently aware of. It happens all the time, especially for managers with a number of direct reports.
I would find it odd in the extreme that a manager would "telegraph" an impending layoff in such an obvious manner. In addition, line managers generally don't know about one of their direct reports being riff'd until the day of the layoff, or possibly the day before.
Perhaps there’s a scheduling conflict. However, I would be concerned.
