@jx i agree it is a very toxic environment. the townhalls showed that. the leaders were afraid to answer questions about upcoming layoffs and dodged the questions totally. i've been with the company a long time and never seen it this bad. like you said, sr directors are brought in who are invisible, then they are quickly out of the role. i would not be surprised if the same happens again. and the directors on medical are toxic bullies who are barely capable to do their job. the managers are afraid to say anything. it's been reported many times an no action taken.

@kt if you really knew people in the org then you would understand the issues. Everyone let go the last year plus was happy to lose their job and the ones left (me included) are mainly looking for other jobs

@ex and they want to hire more sr directors and give them a chief of staff too, instead of hiring people to actually do the work. But everything is going to be "outsourced" to the Philippines. Just because they own the building and they are Cigna direct employees so they are technically are not outsourcing, they are still completely shifting the operations to be majority in the Philippines with leadership in the states. Bank on that!

The US Medical. Customer Service, call side of the business, at least 5 Sups were told they were laid off. Something is not right, we have so many layers of leadership that is redundant it’s mind boggling. Put them on the phones. Cut down their head count.

The supplemental health IT team is a horrible place to work. The teams leadership is extremely toxic!

Yes USE layoffs today. Take the blessing in disguise as this company is Toxic with a capital T! They will keep people who do nothing, work good people to death, and rif top employees. My st manager was let go today and was one of best managers I’ve had here, she was excellent. If you want to stay then fall in line. Executive leadership pretends to care but they don’t walk the talk. In two years they managed to destroy this company.
