Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Absoulte sh-tshow

Just a rant!!

Earlier, 11 days used to do it but now 61% is 14 days. Makes no sense. My entire team is remote, I was hired remote but forcefully transitioned me to an office. I come here just to attend meetings and work alone with no in office interaction all while bearing additional cost of gas and parking

The dooming question of how many hours you need to be in an office?? No clarity there..
Then they expect you to be doing deployments after working hours which conveniently aren't counted!!

I'll say it so many times. They should have kept the nice building in downtown MN if they wanted a downtown presence for people to travel to. Not a bunch of random ugly buildings for no reason.

100% with you there. Not to mention they moved my HUB from a centrally located place downtown with access to public transportation to a s-hole repurposed call center on the other side of the metro from me.

To think of where we were as a company just 4 years ago to now is nothing less than enraging. But the non existent job market forces us to endure.

I'm in a similar boat. It's silly they call themselves flexible since now under the new percentage people will need to have a few weeks with at least 4 days. This is barely a hybrid situation anymore.
