We're proud to share that JM will step into a newly created role as VP, Jordan Visioneering & LA28 Creative Lead.

A long-standing creative force within Jordan Brand, JM work lives at the intersection of technology, design, sport, and culture—pushing what's possible and bringing ideas to life that connect athletes, engage communities, and inspire the next generation.

In this role, JM will lead Jordan Brand's LA28 strategy by bringing together a creative vision, athlete insights, storytelling, and technology to define how the Jordan Brand shows up for LA28 and beyond. He will lead a cross-functional team across concepts, marketplace, community, and brand storytelling to ensure our strongest ideas land with speed and purpose—moving the brand, and the culture, forward.

This role reflects a belief we've always held: the future of Jordan Brand will be shaped by bold imagination, deep connection to sport, and innovation-driven creativity that resonates far beyond the game. JM leadership will help guide how we express the brand for the next generation.

JM will report toPresident of the Jordan Brand SM. He will remain a member of the Jordan Leadership Team and will be based in Los Angeles.”

This is what I’ve found after working at Nike for years: their “vision” for stuff is so basic, obvious, and boring that most people overthink what they mean and mistake it for complexity and intelligence.

When they say “empower all Athletes to universally engage in the joy of sport”, they can’t literally mean “have fun playing some game.”
