“Grateful” for your total rewards?

I just got my total rewards statement plastered with the swollen face of our “HR Chief” bragging about our “total rewards program”. PLEASE!! Pathetic base pay (not tested against market norms since 2019?), finance using merit increases to fund their expense gaps, PATHETIC medical coverage and a “wellness” program that contacted of a few off the shelf apps that do nothing.

Oh - and surprise, we haven’t had a head of total rewards for 2 years, probably because nobody in their right mind would go to work with SM.

Even amidst all the dysfunction among the ELT, I truly can’t believe that SM is still in her role given the complete lack of delivery on basics like this.

Even with her complete disconnection from the reality of her employees, one has to think Penny MUST be cringing whenever SM opens her mouth. I know everyone else is…

Why do they put SD's smug bloated face on the total rewards statement? Its just a reminder that she is the one taking an axe to our benefits

@OP Think of it like Clark from Christmas Vacation when he gets a Jelly of the Month membership ...seriously though, this place can't stand 90% of us. We are taking up precious space on the labor cost spreadsheet and they need about ~40% of home office to quit and be replaced by that sweet juicy cheap indian labor so this ponzi scheme can stay afloat a little longer until penny hustles off into the sunset.

It's misleading AF to include employer-paid payroll taxes (SS/Medicare) and LP earnings as our "total reward".

1) I will never see 100% of the employer paid payroll taxes come back to me, so why is that viewed as anything of value to me, other than justification from PP/SM/DC et al to keep actual compensation as low as possible?

2) LP is an INVESTMENT purchased with my own money. The return on that investment is just that - ROI. It is not compensation. I get that it's an exclusive privilege to be able to buy in to the LP, but they may as well also include my 401k, Roth IRA and taxable investment returns made with my substandard salary as part of my investment. After all, those were bought with funds from the same source as my LP.

3) Why can't these be posted to JAC, instead of God knows how much money was wasted printing and mailing this insult.

4) You don't hate ELT enough. This isn't said out loud as often as it needs to be. They don't care about any of us -- just their next GP distribution.
