Most SLs are clueless, they wander around, attend random meetings, create unnecessary noise, put together useless PowerPoints, and still earn VP-level pay. They are essentially just Scrum Masters with a higher pay grade. Many are history and english majors with zero tech or business knowledge .

Last week, responsibility for enterprise digital security was transferred from him to the enterprise as a whole. He may not be pleased about this change. A number of further changes could be on the horizon.

In the digital and tech teams within brokerage, there are far too many GCLs) and SLs. The GCL roles should be eliminated, and SLs should be downgraded to G7. Many of these GCLs and SLs in tech teams come from non-technical backgrounds, which slows down work, they hold excessive meetings and cause delays in deliverables. This issue is consistent across all business units and the enterprise as a whole. Simply put, there are too many cooks at the top.
