Thread regarding Alteryx layoffs

I hope everybody is looking for a new job

We all know major cuts are coming, the only question is when. It's much easier to find a new job when you're already employed. And trust me, the job market is so bad right now that you don't want to be stuck looking for a job while unemployed with so many others in our field already out of work and looking.

North American teams are seriously overpaid for little that they do. This company is full of grifters

My group design group will probably get cut. I don't absolutely nothing for the past 3 weeks. Working on my resume and reading books.

Yeah, I am glad I left years ago... the UK leadership only care about their favourite people and couldn't give a damm about anyone else. Clear example is Rishi and his puppets.

Why would major cuts be coming? Why say something like that with zero context if not to just cause unrest? Makes me question if you even work at Alteryx or if you’re just a competitor trying to cause trouble.

“We all know major cuts are coming” do we? Care to elaborate for the ones who don’t know

What makes you think another “major” cut is happening? Which departments are you referring to?

I am so glad I left when I did.

Everything I learned to jump was off the few interesting projects I did, and lots of self-study.

Learning how to mentor people who shouldn't ever touch a computer is not valued for high level engineering positions, at actual SaaS companies.
