The unemployment office knows which companies are bad and this one is at the top of the list for layoffs! File for unemployment if you are fired at least in MN. You’ll most likely get paid unemployment for being fired. Also don’t forget age if you qualify. The company has to fight it. Most the time your manager doesn’t have the proof. File for it! Don’t let anyone fool you!

Companies normally don’t contest unemployment as they lose it. On the other hand employees never win firing cases except age etc. related EOE cases, which are extremely difficult to prove.
@df you can collect unemployment in MN if you were fired. I've known multiple people who were fired for performance issues and were able to collect. Basically the only way you can't get unemployment in MN is if you are fired for Employee Misconduct. Being fired for performance issues is not employee misconduct ..

You totally can get unemployment in mn if you’re fired. I’ve known people who have collected and were fired. I am speaking from a manager point of view. File for it.
You can certainly file for unemployment, but the there 100% chance of denial if you were fired. Look it up, but being fired disqualifies for unemployment. Even if you think you were fired for an illegal reason, you have you take action against the company. Unemployment offices don't care. They go by their charts if you got let go for X reason, you qualify. Then if you made X amount your get X amount for unemployment got X number of months. Sorry, but you're SOL.
