You work there for two decade and still didn’t know how Oracle work? Where have you been for multiple layoffs from last decade? You always need to prepare today/tomorrow is your last day
@ae well, it helps to recognize your feelings and express them, instead of holding them in. But, no, don’t take it personally. It certainly wasn’t in this case.
It takes time to forget and move on....no easy way around it. Use it as motivation to show them you can find a better career outside them.
Only you can control how you make of the situation. No anonymous user here can help you. Take this opportunity to better your life now that you have more time to pamper yourself

By finally accepting the fact that we are all disposable, exploitable workers.
Of course you are going to take it personally. It is like a divorce you didn't ask for or see coming. The relationship wasn't mutual. You made a commitment and they just saw you as an employee number. To you this is probably like a death in the family but you are the one who died. Go through the phases of grief and then focus on the future. This will always be a painful memory but it doesn't have to define your life going forward. Realize that this isn't a testimony to your character or skills it is a testimony to the uncontrolled impact of corporate greed.
At this point that's irrelevant. Just move on
