It’s better to be laid off than to accept the offer. If you opt in, it is considered a resignation. You also forfeit a few benefits.
@10v In most states, no, you would not be eligible as this is considered a voluntary resignation.
D-mb question but if we opt in are we eligible for UI. I assume not. Ive never been through this before where I considered the package - work in an NJ location for 8 yrs
Take it or leave it
It's the same as the Phase 1 offers. Mine seems to be a couple weeks short, but otherwise about what I expected; 2 weeks per year served, as per usual.
