Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel R.I.P.

Intel was once the standard, when it had a huge headstart and monopoly.

They ditched meritocracy for D&I and progressive values.

Now the engineering staff all WFH and forgot how to find the factory.

The titanic is sinking…

DEI isn't Intel's biggest problem... but it is big enough. Everyone knows distorted behavior like telling managers they can only fill a REQ if it is with a DEI is not helping the company, nor the DEI who gets a job that they are way over their head on... this breeds inferior results, internal tribalism and high anxiety for the DEI since they know there was a thumb on the scale for them to get the job.

Not to worry.
All chip-makers will be Nationalized in 2023 for homeland reasons.

Pat needs to go and a less fanatical more pragmatic and grounded CEO is needed!

Of course the board looked twice long and hard and the first time had to settle for good ole Bob who was way over his head as no one wanted it including the current CEO.

Of course Bob had to go when he offer the only real solution to the BoD and they didn’t like it. So they went looking and gave full contr and no oversight to the guy that was considered multiple times and passed over. That passed over guy demanded and got dull BoD fanatical support. You think this is a good situation ?

Obviously a disgruntled ex-employee.

What if a woke "board" offers you a "pat" on the head - CEO job? You will still take it as will all of us.
