Before getting laid off manager made sure i conduct extensive knowledge transfer session to IDC. That should have been a sign my days were numbered. Will not recommend any Americans to join this company ever. It is a race to bottom and no cares about what this will do product quality.

OP, if you didn't pickup on being asked to do a knowledge transfer as a sign before you got laid off you might be a little naive. Let me give to a heads up... Oracle isn't the only company who treats their employees this way. It is just a job. Jobs are supposed to facilitate the rest of your life and not become your life.
VP is based in India. He would love to have laid me off yesterday like rest of the other US based employees. Constantly putting pressure on the incompetent IDC employees to be able to handle the products that i work with.
12K employees in India where canned. You are competing with cost of AI tokens. AI tokens are cheaper than any low cost center employee.
