Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

WPE

I know everyone has their own opinions on wfh, hybrid and coffee swipers but this isn’t the post for opinions. A few people I know had been swiping then working from home and the manager was aware. They are now going in for the full 3 days but have not received anything from WPE. Are people only being fired at certain sites? Can anyone confirm this is happening in the GA or FL offices? I heard that one site had a major review and fired employees but is that confirmed?

Who cares if they leave early! If they're doing their job. Just mind y or business! It's very simple.

I got injured in a car wreck and come in at 7am, leave at 10am to goto physical therapy and login at home around noon. No one has said anything to me. I am sure folks see me walking out of the office at 10am thinking I am a typical coffee-badger.

I work in NJ. I am not aware of anyone being terminated for WPE. I know people who have been flagged for non-compliance on the manager dashboard for attendance. But nothing has happened to them other than a conversation with their manager.

Don’t understand the problem here. Are you losers actually advocating for RTO to be enforced? If so, please do the world a favor and ki-l yourselves immediately.

My manager does the badge swipe in the morning and does not sit at his desk. He goes back home. He probably sits at the office desk one day a week, and only for half a day. I see it with my own eyes week after week. If he ever tries to come for me I have ammunition.

@a2 this is soooo true and during my years at the bank I have went through all of these. Started working with kids left early for the line.... now all my kids are big and the only reason I stay late is because my gym is right near the office ..trying to get rid of the dad bod.

Bs ..half of the company leaves when elementary schools release. After 2pm only people with no kids, big/grown kids are still at work. By 4 all the people trying to beat traffic leave. Only people who stay till 5 are the ones who's gym is near the office and they want to make the 5:30 spinning class.

Seems like bs. Seen many people leave after 2-3 hours for years and haven’t heard of anyone facing consequences.
