Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Just in case you're still unsure it's over

several hours ago our VP in Fusion told it to remaining group of people from NA, IDC, EU locations that it's done and those who are on the call are safe for now.
I've heard of a few such cases where folks were informed by their managers/VPs/SVPs it's finally over. So if you're still here, you made it.

Not to mention the fact that this all starts again June 1 with another massive reorg.

Not aware of anyone going in the UK yet. India was certainly hit hard yesterday.
I expect the more protective employment laws in UK & EU will cause a delay here??

US and IDC I’d agree, for at least another six months, but APAC and EMEA are completely untouched in this round for now so it’s just a matter of time. Everyone who does my job in the Americas was let go yesterday, so the writing is very much on the wall for me over here in EMEA.

Ni it's not done, even for US and India it will continue in waves.
